Deep Dive Dubai: A Dive Into The World’s Deepest Pool

deep dive dubai

Dubai is known for its modern buildings, fancy cars and dripping wealth. But it’s also got the world’s deepest pool. Deep Dive Dubai opened in July 2021 and offers insane diving adventures where you can explore a sunken city, learn new skills, or just have fun underwater.

The facility holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s deepest pool at 197 feet deep (holding 3.7 million gallons), which is equivalent to six Olympic-sized swimming pools.

The pool’s sunken city features abandoned apartments, chess tables, bikes (that you can ride), and even a submerged theater you can watch a movie in. There are also sound and lighting effects to create different moods and scenarios.

Deep Dive Dubai has 56 cameras to monitor safety and capture your diving experience. You can also communicate with your instructor or fellow divers using their underwater intercom system.

For anyone new to diving, they’ve got packages which allow you to submerge but only 10-40 feet. Prices range from about $200 to $800.

Here’s what it looks like from the outside!
