A Polish priest has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after a male prostitute collapsed from taking too many erectile dysfunction pills at his sex party last year, Reuters reports.
The priest, who is only being referred to as Tomasz Z “due to Polish privacy laws,” was arrested in January for drug and sex crimes, in addition to his “[failure] to provide assistance to a person in danger of loss of life or serious bodily harm.”
According to reports, fellow partygoers called paramedics once they saw that the man had collapsed, but “When paramedics arrived at the scene, the incriminated priest reputedly denied them access to the building and thus also preventing the patient from receiving medical treatment,” according to the Catholic Herald.

It isn’t clear how many sex parties this priest had, but following media reports, the church’s bishop resigned. Bishop Grzegorz Kaszak didn’t provide a specific reason for his resignation, but some suspect it had something to do with the depraved sex parties which took place under his watch.
At the time of his resignation, Kaszak “asked everyone to forgive my human limitations,” adding, “if I have offended anyone or anything, I am very sorry.”
It isn’t clear whether Kaszak participated in the sex or not.
