Sylvester Stallone has been accused of saying some very nasty things about some of the background actors on “Tulsa King,” a comedy-drama streaming on Paramount+.

Sly stars in the series as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a Mafia capo who gets release from prison and “exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unlikely characters” (IMDB).
A bunch of casting groups claim he was verbally abusive and created a toxic environment while filming for the show’s second season in Atlanta. Some actually quit.
According to screenshots, one background actor said Stallone and the show’s director, Craig Zisk, “call[ed] certain people terrible names and laughed at them.” Some of those names reportedly included “ugly,” “tub of lard” and “fat guy with cane,” according to extras.
Got this disturbing news from my Atlanta friend who’s background on Tulsa King this wk. Casting agent quit because she was so disgusted. My friend is feeling anxious about working now. @TheSlyStallone what do you have to say for yourself, sir? Beyond disappointed, I’m livid. pic.twitter.com/EYEuiaWtkf

It’s also been reported that Stallone requested “pretty young girls” to be around him, because there apparently weren’t any there, and he’s worked hard to get where he is.
Zisk denied the claims to TMZ. He also said the extras were supposed to be “young and hip,” and the ones they got were old.
Stallone has not responded to requests for comment. Production is apparently looking into it.
“Tulsa King” has pretty good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, Google and RogerEbert.com.
